The “Europe for Notaries – Notaries for Europe” 2015-2017 training programme is a project developed by the Notaries of Europe with the support of the European Union. It involved organising 11 seminars in 11 Member States, in partnership with the national notarial organisations. The training focused primarily on the application of the new European regulation on international successions.
The programme helps the European Commission to reach its target of offering at least half of the legal professionals in the EU the chance to receive training in European law at local, national or EU level by 2020. Another of its targets is for all legal professionals to receive at least one week of training in EU law at some point in their careers.
